The Golden Voice of the Czech Republic or the Golden Nightingale – those terms are synonymous with legendary singer Karel Gott. This attractive young man with his amazing voice quickly rose to European musical Mount Olympus, and became an idol for millions of people. His songs have been played worldwide and still do in many countries, and Mr. Gott himself hasn’t abandoned the stage for over five decades. The TREBBIA Award is presented to the Maestro with accent on his artistic overlap and popularity in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the countries of the former Soviet Union.
