Škoda AUTO is one of the oldest car factories in Europe. It followed the tradition of the Laurin and Klement Company based in Mladá Boleslav, where cars had been put together since 1905. The Company currently manufactures four model sets and is with its 630 thousand sold cars one of the biggest exporters in the Czech Republic. The Škoda Auto Company states support of culture to be one of the crucial pillars of its social responsibility. Partners of Škoda Auto are for example the National Theatre, the Czech Philharmonia, the Prague Symphonic Orchestra FOK, The International Film Festival for Children and Youth Zlín, or the Smetana’s Litomyšl International Festival.
